What paintball marker should I buy?
I've been paintballing five or six times, and I'm finally thinking of getting a marker. I want to buy a good gun but I don't want to pay more than a beginner should. I've been considering a Tippmann 98 Custom but there are so many models that I'm overwhelmed.
While I don't approve of what smart parts did in the past I will still say that their new SP1 or Vibe is an excellent choice for a beginer. They now have a standard e-trigger with mutli firing modes shooting up to 10bps so you don't get too overwhelmed when you go up against some jerk with a marker that is spiting 20bps when it only takes one paintball to get an out. They also have a one peice body that tears down for lubing fairly quick especially when compared to the claim shelled tippy's. It's a very simple design that any newby can get used to cleaning and lubing very easily. If your worried about using it in the rain or snow, don't, it has been proven that the electronics are well protected from the elements.
I can stress this enough though, get a quality mask that fits well and has goood ventilation. the last thing you want is a mask that hurts your face or fogs up eve 20 seconds cause you NEVER REMOVE YOUR MASK DURRING A GAME.
