airbag light stays on?
I have a 2004 dodge dakota. I was driving down the road the other day and the bag in my passenger seat had a computer in it, i had to brake hard and the computer hit the glove box, after that my airbag light came on and it will not shut off. I am thinking the sensor just needs to be reset, could it be another problem with it, and is it an expensive job?
sensors are like u called it sensitive and sometimes thats all it takes to charge them. so the hit might have activated the backup supplyer...do as these ppl say...dissconnect ure batt for around 10mints, to erase the backups' memory also.....if it still lights on after that and doesn't go off...take it to a mechanic and have them check it, they might just dissconnect the backup.....or will tell u to get a new airbag module......now this may run from $50 to $1000depending on ure airbag module. well good luck man
