Paintball Gun Spyder
How good of a paintball gun is the Spyder Mr1?
I recently bought a Spyder Mr1 and a 22 inch barrel for it to improve accuracy and so far i think it is a pretty good gun but i am new to paintball and im not too sure could you guys give me any advice on this? I was also wondering if the Tippman 98 custom would be a better gun than this one? Thanks!
To add onto what's already been said, longer barrels don't help accuracy - only higher QUALITY barrels AND high quality paint affect accuracy. Well, that and your own ability to aim. Barrel length is purely preference, although if it is too long, the added length actually causes drag on the ball and you lose velocity.
MR1 vs 98 Custom, it is preference. Depends which you like more. They're basically the same from a technical point of view, as they operate in a similar way, have a similar rate of fire, and have about the same number & type of performance upgrades available (Tippmanns have more aesthetic upgrades available, like "sniper" kits or whatever, but those don't affect performance, only looks).
