Parts Epiphany
Is the Smart Parts Epiphany a good marker? What Upgrades should i get?
Ive been looking around at SP, Spyder, Tippmann, and Proto markers... which one would you recommend and any upgrades... I limited to about $300 for now, so the marker has to be 300 at most. If i were to get a gun i was thinking the Epiphany, a Virtue Board, The Freak Barrel(16 in) and i dont know about air.. I am an intermediate player. Looking for accuracy...
The epiphany is a nice choice. comes stock with the freak barrel, and those barrels are top knotch for accuracy. all you need to do is buy some inserts and you're set. the stock board for those are fine, no need to change it out. The virtue board does give you more tuning options and firing options, but aren't worth the price tag. For air, just make sure you buy an HPA tank.
Protos are also nice guns. have you considered the Proto Matrix Rail? very air efficient, fast, quiet, and upgradeable. the only thing i don't like about it is the "plasticy" feel. other than that, it is a beautiful gun.
But remember, for these guns you will need a fast hopper, like a Halo B, and those aren't cheap either. so if budget is a major issue, you might want to buy used. look on ebay or the for sale section of pbnation.com, you could find some great package deals where the air tank, hopper, and other accessories/upgrades are included.
