First day of school outfit? I'm going to be a freshman?

For the first day of school, I am thinking of wearing ripped blue skinny jeans, a fitted dark blue t-shirt with a hand giving the peace sign on it, black and really dark grey checkered vans, and maybe a black and white long sleeved flannel shirt. Do you like it? Is there a better color t-shirt I could wear with the flannel? How would you describe my style?

I think you should do everything besides the flannel. Just Vans, jeans and tee- keep it sweet and simple. Maybe you should add some color with a bright red headband or some bracelets. I would describe your style as tomboy, casual and a little skater. Hope this helps!
