Sight Paintball
bsa optics on paintball gun?
i just recieved my BSA RD30 which i got of walmart for $32 (wow!), and i wanted to know what range i should adjust the sight for. my paintball barrel is a C.P. 16inch, and my gun is a tippmann custom pro, and i use HPA. i just need a general idea of where the dot should be if i adjust it correctly, and what range its effective up to.
The way i do it is to set the elevation of where the paintball hit at least 30 feet and at most no more than 60 feet. The most important thing the adjust is windage, try to get that as spot on as you can. As for elevation you will always have to try and compensate for that so theres no point getting that spot on.
I play or try to play a sniper role in most of the games I play and I find it that I always have to compensate for the paintball drop, except ofcourse when their 30 feet away.
