Traditional cut vs. Tournament cut gi's?

I understand that tournament cut gis are shorter in length in the sleeves and pants. Is the tournament gi also longer in the front and back flaps of the top? I am looking for kids gis that are longer in the flaps. Do you know which brands would have the longer flaps?

There are several places that sell a gi that is correctly cut. A tournament cut gi has a wider gusset for kicks, shorter sleeves and pants but in reality a traditional cut (real traditional) is better.

Kwon sells about the best quality for the cheapest price but I would recommend Kamikaze uniforms over any of them. You can find any of these websites on the internet through search engines. Good luck.

Edit - Century sells some nice uniforms but they are American Cut and far from traditional. The gi top is not long enough and will come untucked repeatedly unless you get a larger top but then the sleeves are way too long. I do like the 10 oz brushed cotton gi from Century for general training but I wear my Kamikaze/Arawaza Asia gi everyday that I train and when I compete. It is by far more superior than Century.
