Virtue Board
i have a question about my smart parts vibe i want to get a virtue board but not sure what it does?
so ive looked online about a virtue board and every1 tells the same thing nothing really explainin it .
if i get a virtue board wat will i have 2 change? like will i have 2 change the gun for the other buttons to b able 2 press
and how how do you know what mode your in.
also when i see people using virtues what will i have 2 change on the gun like if i get a virtue board will i have to change any other internals.
really i want to know how 2 change psp ramping to unlimited.
i dont really understand the unlimited ramping either and the virtue board for a vibe comes with eyes? what are eyes and y do ppl want to shut it off if it prevents paintball breaks?

I bought a virtue board for my vibe a week ago and also got the ROTOR hopper which is currently the fasted hopper. The board comes in a Virtue tin case with instructions, board, and a virtue sticker. It will tell you how to install it and all the settings. It took me about an hour to uninstall my old board and install the new one. Their are two switches on the board, one is a lock so you cant change the settings and the other is for two different player profiles. I would advise you sort out your settings before you reatach the body to the handle so you can still flip the switches. To uninstall the old board just follow the intructions and the same for installing the virtue board. Two things I had trouble with; one was the black QEV ( the black plastic thing in the middle of the board) you must first unscrew two screws from behind it, then carefully pull on two clips that are holding it on ech side and simply pull it out. Be careful for the two metal prongs that are sticking out the back of the QEV. What ever you do dont force any thing or they will break. The other thing I had trouble with was this bronze colored U-shaped ring holding a thing on their. It can be prety tricky to remove but the instructions give you some advise. The real problem though is the settings for the board. Their is plain semi, psp (after the 3 pull it shoots 3 balls per pull), melinium ( same as psp only you can hold trigger down), Response(pull in shoots one ball and release shoots one ball), full auto, Break out( first pull is auto after that its semi) Ramping( one you reach a set speed of BPS it jumps up to a higher BPS as long as you maintain it. Read the instructions and set your profile to select a mode and then close the gun up. when you are in select a mode you can choose any mode and set all your Qev speeds and max rate of fire and excetra. Word of advice, dont worry about any settings except for the QEV timing, maxrate of fire, and ramping sttings. (the QEV the what actually lets the air in and out. I set my QEV on time to 31. The intrustions will tell you what it means. I the instructions may refer to the ion but any settings it tells you about the ION is what you want to set your vibe to. They both have similar inturnals. You should be able to control everything about your vibe by using the trigger and button in different coordinations. The instructions have charts for all the modes and sttings, just make sure you read them and it will help. once you set your QEV to 31 it should fire but dont be upset if it doesnt fire any faster than it use to because it comes set to11 balls per second, just change the rate of fire.
Eyes are two little sensors that go just below the feed neck of the gun and are there to make sure you dont chop a ball and that their is always a ball in the chamber before it shoots. If they dont sense a ball the gun wont shoot. The main reason eyes are important is because when you pull the trigger your gun shoots a ball but it takes the hopper just a moment to sense that it needs to load. one the hopper gets going (if you have a fast one) it WILL keep up with you. The problem is that the eys add a little time on to the gun do to more wire travels and so they can slow you down just a little. thats why people want to shoot with out eys if they can get the loader to start loading. PS. if the bolt is moving fast enough it will basically stop a ball from falling thus not letting the hopper sense it. Thats when eyes come in play. My personal opinion it to always use eys. The people who claim it is faster with out eyes are right but its usaully only something like 2 or three balls a second faster which is nothing. Since the vibe has no eyes you can realy on use semi. On semi you can shoot its 25 BPS limit or unlimited which is really only like 27( mainly a for show setting) as long as your hopper can keep up. The reason you can only use semi really is because on the other modes the gun jumps into ramping or fires two fast for the hopper to start feeding. For example if you have it on full auto and just hold the trigger down it wont really shoot, but if you tap the trigger a few times to get the balls going and then hold it donw iwill pretty much shoot all the time. I Have really fast fingers and can shoot about 24 BPS which is really fast and people will probally tell you that Im lieing. You can believe what you want but shouting that fast doesn't cont for anything if you dont have field skills which Im not the best at. The only reason I can even shoot paint that fast is beacause I have the Rotor hopper. If you are walking your trigger and you cant get your gun to shoot a a steady rate its probably because you are out shooting your board. Ps. eyes for the vibe are comming this spring ( 2009 ) Which I will perchase. If you buy the board and eyes the vibe will keep up with a Ion no problem. I even held my own against an Invert Mini.
